Teas After Worship
Join us for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat after worship every Sunday in our Church Hall. We have a fantastic group of members who provide and serve the teas and biscuits on a rota basis.
Monthly Nursing Home Services
Alexander Scott’s Hospital Eventide Home (last Sunday of the month) and The Meadows Care Home (second Sunday of the month) both receive fellowship in the form of a short service in the afternoon on a monthly basis, where the Minister is accompanied by one or two of our members.
Minibus
We have use of the Huntly Community Minibus every Sunday and have a group of volunteer drivers and escorts who collect folks who are unable otherwise to get to Church.
Guild
Although our Guild is fairly small with just over twenty members we can always be relied upon to serve our Church and the wider community enthusiastically and to the best of our abilities.
We provide hospitality at regular fundraising Coffee Mornings and as a Guild we host an annual Bring & Buy Evening which raises money to support not just the current Guild Projects but other charities such as Christian Aid and our local Foodbank.
We take part in and host The World Day of Prayer Service with our friends at Huntly Cairnie Glass Church, St Margaret’s RC Church and Christ Church (Scottish Episcopal) Church.
The keen knitters amongst us regularly donate knitted items to support a number of organisations such as The Sailor’s Society and most recently to our local Rotary Club’s Shoebox Appeal in December 2020.
